Kraft Foods Splendid

Splendid, traditional and well-known Italian coffee brand, was born in Turin in 1969 in a local coffee roasting firm called “Società Generale del Caffè”. The coffee brand was successful at such an extent the company decided to start an industrial production of its own. In 1972 Splendid was purchased by Procter & Gamble and then acquired by Kraft Foods Italia in 1992. Splendid is produced in the Andezeno plant (near Turin) according to the most rigorous qualitative standards. The modern and technologically advanced Andezeno plant obtained ISO 9002 certification in Jan. 1997.
