Cafés Richard S.A. is a family owned and operated coffee roaster with a long history of service in France. Its parent company Maison Richard, was established in 1892 and was the first in Paris with its famous carts of «vins, charbon et bois» or wines, coal and wood delivered to the newly developing restaurants and cafés. Today, Maison Richard comprises Vins Richard: a producer and distributor of fine wines, alcohols, and mineral waters and its associated company, Cafés Richard: coffee roaster and distributor of quality accompaniment products such as teas, chocolates, sugars, and biscuits.

Dedicated solely to the supply of cafés and restaurants, Cafés Richard has grown to become France’s leading roaster for the foodservice industry. In keeping with the fine French culinary tradition, each and every coffee is rigorously selected and roasted to reflect the passion and «savoir-faire» that the French are famous for and that Cafés Richard has acquired for more than 40 years.
